Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day

The 15th of the month means it’s time for Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day.  Carol, from May Dreams Gardens, hosts this event.  Check out her webpage to see gardens from all over the world.

About the blonde gardener

I'm an Arkansas girl born and raised. I garden in the beautiful Northwest part of the state (zone 6b or 7) surrounded by the Ozark Mountains. My favorite part about the area is we have 4 distinct seasons and are able to enjoy a variety of activities. My main passion is gardening but I also enjoy hiking, birding, 4-wheeling and motorcycle trips. Basically anything outside. Thanks for stopping by! Brenda

Things are looking really spring like in your neck of the woods! What variety is that daisy? I’ve never seen such a cute and furry bloom:) Happy GBBD!

  4. Wow, I love that phlox and the redbud. I have lots of Phlox diveritica, but not the subulata – too much shade.

    • It was an accident that the phlox is here. I was digging up some daffodils and ground cover at an old homestead that was being torn down and it was in there. I also got my nekkid ladies that way. 🙂 Great surprise!

That phlox is just gorgeous! And your little hummer looks so sweet. But I want that bird to come flying over my house! I’ve always wanted a redbud!
