I Interupt this Holiday Season

for a new hobby.
Like I need something else to do.
When everything is so busy.
Grandbaby due very soon.
Christmas decorations still in their tubs.
Youngest son graduates college in 1 week and moves in 1 month.
And, in the middle of all this,  I have rediscovered sewing.
A couple of months ago, I bought a new Babylock sewing/embroidery machine.  My old Singer sewing machine is 30 years old, still runs great, but I was like a kid in a candy store when I saw everything this machine could do.
I started frequenting fabric stores again and found this cute little shop about 30 miles from me.

This little shop is so unique.   First, it is out in the middle of nowhere but well worth the drive.  Second, they offer free quilt classes and I sat in on one today.  Hmmm.  I’ve never tried quilting….and she gave us snacks.
Once you go in, you are greeted with a really cool, old truck.

With the bed filled with all sorts of goodies.
That's what I'm talkin' about

And what does one do before quilt class?

What will it be?
What will it be?
Now the ultimate question.
When will I get this done???
So, if you find yourself on Hwy. 16 between Elkins and St. Paul on a Friday or Saturday, look for the big red barn and stop in and check out her shop.  Or check out her online store at www.lonesomepinequilts.com
You may now return to your regularly scheduled Holiday Season.
