I have never been a frou-frou kinda girl.
I don’t like malls. I don’t like to shop.

My name and fashion are never mentioned favorably in the same sentence.
I’ve had the same hair cut since the seventh grade.

I’m not up on the latest jewelry trends, but I do think diamonds are very pretty.
I even have a couple.

I will confess, however, there is a stone I absolutely love.
The stone itself is not rare, but the shape is different from most.
I’m thankful that my husband doesn’t mind me indulging in this one pleasure.
And even encourages me to bring them home when I find one.
That’s why he’s been my Valentine for the last thirty-two years.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

Is that your cat..and the kittens as well? And what does frou frou mean? And what kind of rocks are they? Anyway, this is a nice post….although I am not a Valentine type of person, not at all really. But I love my garden, with its herbs and plants and flowers…..I love all kinds of flowers… even if I do not know their names. I posted a calendula flower in my garden some time ago, and also a pink flower for another blogger….And like you I love the seasons, and even though a lot of Australia does not have them really here where I am in the mountains, we do….except sometimes it gets confused – like it has been cold lately and this is supposed to be summer! But I still do not mind…anyway, sorry, I am rambling on – I like this blog..forgive me.
Yes, these are my cats and dog. And frou-frou means showy or fussy about how you look. Thanks for visiting my blog!
Brenda
Well Brenda, those are cute pets – and like you, i am not frou frou either – thanks for replying to me and have a lovely day in your garden!
John.
Hi Brenda. Hope you and your husband have a happy Valentine’s Day! You know, I had wondered how come I never saw your blog posts any more. Then I discovered by accident that I have a WordPress reader. Duh! Glad I found you again!
Thanks and same to you and your wife! We both worked late tonight and just enjoyed a pizza together. we were the only ones there! I guess pizza’s not Valentine’s Day fare for most. Glad you found me again, too!
Happy Valentine’s day! I have a cold hard stony heart myself! I love your furry friends! They make the best garden helpers!
I can’t imagine your heart being that stony, but you are THE Outlaw Gardener and that title must require a certain reputation.
As far as my pets being garden helpers? That’s a different story altogether. Hope you had a great Valentine’s Day! Brenda
We sound like sisters except that I like stars better than hearts.
We need to form a sisterhood because more people have told me that!
